Because I encourage my clients to honor their bodies as they are right now I use shadows in an intentional way to highlight what they love about it. The shadow play is also a nod to boudoir itself. A bright and airy style may fit for weddings but boudoir is all about exploring sexuality and the inner work.
I offer two different collections both of which are private, just for you. (You may book back to back with a friend on the same day for a small discount but I no longer offer "marathons" or "mini sessions.") Please see the Services page for a list of all offerings.
Yes! Even for our clients who want a more natural look, professional hair and makeup is key to an end product that looks refined and polished. We have some amazing stylists that we work with who are experts in Boudoir. And don’t worry, no 1990’s prom hair or Shirley Temple curls here.
You'll receive a guide once you book that'll go over how to prepare for your session but here are a few tips to get you started: black, red, jewel tones, and white photograph best. Check out Honey Birdette | Yandy | Marie Mur | The Great Eros | For Love + Lemons | Bluebella | Thistle + Spire // Pro Tip: Wear loose clothing the morning of your shoot as tight leggings or ankle socks can leave unflattering marks on your skin.
Luxe Collections are photographed at a boutique hotel in Washington DC while Gold Collections are photographed at my studio in Georgetown, designed and styled as the perfect back drop with the most flattering light.
Yes! If you and a friend want to book your private sessions on the same day back to back, you’ll both receive $50 off your private session fee.
We’re a positive, gender-affirming space that welcomes all adult ages, abilities and bodies. We reject racism, xenophobia, transphobia, homophobia, and ableism.
I no longer offer marathons or mini sessions. My boudoir offering is a luxury experience that deserves a significant amount of time and attention to detail.
Yes! A recent study showed that holding a physical photograph in one’s hands activates the part of the brain that helps one to remember experiences. By holding a print or album in your hand, you’re actually remembering the experience better than you would by viewing the images on a computer or cell phone. I offer prints directly through your online gallery as well as hand-designed, leather-bound lay flat album options. Due to the nature of the photographs, we work with a small album design company that only works with professional photographers to ensure your privacy.
More than likely, a big part of you booking a session with me is because you were able to see my portfolio. That being said, I understand how intimate boudoir is so you’ll be able to decide how you’d like your photos shared from none at all, all of them or just images that don’t show your face. Before booking, you'll have the option to include a complimentary add-on for allowing me to use images that include your face within our portfolio.
